Born and raised in south warren, MI, Peter J began his music
career very early. Developing “the studio” while still a junior
in high school, Pete wet his appetite for recording and producing
music. After that venture fell through, and after attending
a live ORBITAL show in 1996, Pete discovered his passion for
electronic dance music. Scotty Stemmz and Peter J began djing
together using a friend’s turntable. Regularly attending parties
in the Detroit circuit and a religious attendee of MOTOR nightclub,
Pete remained in the scene for years before deciding to take
CONFUSION PRODUCTIONS to the front lines. For the last 2 years,
CONFUSION has been building a reputation and a following by
throwing parties and fundraisers in the metro Detroit area.
By developing his talent for spinning and relying on influences
such as BAD BOY BILL, JOHN DIGWEED, ………. , whatever his mood
may be, and wherever the music leads- Peter J will follow
wholeheartedly- and he’s taking CONFUSION PRODUCTIONS with
him all the way!
